Project background: automobile manufacturing plant painting workshop needs to upgrade the cooling system to provide stable 7 ℃ chilled water for the spraying production line, the requirements of high efficiency, durability, and adapt to the workshop's high-temperature environment.


Solution: Shell and tube heat exchanger design

Shell and tube heat exchanger type: horizontal shell and tube evaporator (full liquid type)

Core design parameters:

Tube range: chilled water (7℃ in / 12℃ out)

Shell stroke: refrigerant (R134a, evaporation temperature 2℃)

Heat exchange area: 120 square meters (stainless steel 316L tube, chlorine ion corrosion resistant)

Pipe diameter/arrangement: Φ19mm×0.8mm, positive triangular layout (improve turbulence, reduce fouling)


Shell and tube heat exchanger is also applicable:

Data center cooling: requires 24/7 stable operation and corrosion resistance.

Chemical process cooling: handling high viscosity or particle-containing fluids.

Food processing: sanitary design (optional double tube and plate structure).
